Hello Saurabh,

I wanted to install XCircuit on my Mac, which is running OS X El
Capitan. How do I do this? I’m a little confused by your online
documentation.

Sorry if it's confusing. I don't have a Mac so I depend on other
people to tell me how the installation on a Mac goes. I only know
that due to the X11 interface, it requires fink (definitely) or
MacPorts (maybe) installs of X11-based Tcl/Tk.

It would be helpful if somebody with a Mac and a compiler could
work out the Cairo interface; it should just require that the
cairo_xlib_create_surface be replaced with cairo_quartz_create_surface
and maybe a few other changes, and then the Mac version would be a
lot easier to install (that's a hint to anyone on the xcircuit-dev
email list who is reading this. . . ).
