The last time I ran the Analyze command was in the previous build of Xcode, 6.1.x. Today I tried it in 6.2 and keep getting the following errors. I tried cleaning the build folder, trashing the DerivedData folder, trashing the entire DerivedData/ModuleCache folder, but nothing helps.
fatal error: malformed or corrupted AST file: 'Unable to load module "/Users/tut/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/ModuleCache/3S8P9V5ZJDH93/Darwin-1X6DCOAHVUA1I.pcm": module file not found' note: after modifying system headers, please delete the module cache at '/Users/tut/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/ModuleCache/3S8P9V5ZJDH93' 1 error generated. Command /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang failed with exit code 1 The folder 3S8P9V5ZJDH93 does not exist when I try to do what the error suggests. I'm also fairly sure I haven't modified any system headers, although there's always a chance I was in the wrong tab or something when I typed, or a cat stepped on the keyboard, but Xcode is usually pretty good about saying I don't haver permission to edit system headers. I guess I could try throwing out Xcode and reinstalling from the App Store, but I thought I'd try here first. None of the google results I looked at have been any help. -- Steve Mills Drummer, Mac geek _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
