That’s a really unusual way to do it; I have no idea whether it would work or not. The normal way to add a system framework is to go to the Build Phases tab of the target editor, flip open the Link Binary With Libraries section, press the “+” button and select the framework. (Or you can do what Quincey said, which is newfangled and I’m not entirely used to it yet, but it works.) —Jens
