I managed to run it after having “unlocked” (with admin password) System Preferences —> Security and Privacy. No need to change the setup here, only “unlock” them. I’ve seen reports of people changing the setup to “allow any app” (and getting it back later) but I didn’t need to change it.
I think I should file a bug, now that I think about it... I’ll do it.
