Thanks to Quincy, Bob, Pascal for getting me on the right track. Modifying the
declaration for my delegate class to include the NSApplicationDelegate protocol
cleared my problem with the bogus message. I believe it is a bug because it
incorrectly identifies the problem. I guess I’ll have to file a bug (which I
haven’t done for a long time).
I did finally locate the appropriate SDK for 10.11, although Apple’s following
MS’s example of changing the locations and names of important files when the
moon changes didn’t help any, and the fact that there are several Apple web
pages that nave expired information. Apparently many of these changes are
(FSVO) documented in Release Notes. Are there archived or available copies for
the releases I have missed (10.5.8 and on)?
Bolshoi Spacebo to Carl for his cartoon - one of the few laughs I’ve been able
to enjoy out of this whole exercise, especially since I have an accordion in
the house which I rarely touch anymore.

Thanks again -
Dale Miller
