Agree that present airspace warning logic is not intuitive, but don't think
that the proposed solution is any easier to understand. 
We need other solutions or opinions to come forward.

Please be very careful about introducing any further abbreviations which are
"non standard" aviation english such as AS (airspace), the dialogue itself
is already about airspace, so please don't introduce another abbreviation.
Many glider pilots do not have english as a first language and "AS" is not a
common aviation abbreviation.

I think the definitive dialogue explanations provided by JW are a great
improvement for further understanding of the present setup. I only ever use
the ACK DAY option because my local understanding is good but many pilots
either ignore or stumble into controlled airspace and for those pilots  the
warnings, although repetitive, are very relevant and cannot be ignored.
