For dual installation I would suggest not using a .cab file. Instead, 
download the .exe file for v. 6.0.2, rename it, so it does not overwrite 
the 5.2.4, and copy to the same folder. Both versions will share the 
XCSoarData directory. One warning though - they will use the same 
profile (.prf) file, so have the 5.2.4 load a different one, because 
some options are new for 6.0.2. This is especially critical with 
terrain/topology and task files, the latter having a different format 
despite the same extension.

What is the reason for using 5.2.4 anyway?
