The CAB will replace any previous CAB version of XCSoar. Yes, it should automatically use the existing configuration. If not, submit a bug report. I never use the CAB installation, I always have half a dozen of EXE versions installed, but on the other hand, I'm doing development, and I test a lot of stuff while I fly. > For dual installation I would suggest not using a .cab file.
