No solution currently, we need to implement virtual serial ports (VSPs) in XCSoar and then a connection can be made from the PC to the Android device if they're connected to the same wifi network, or over USB using the Android debug bridge (ADB). It's already ticketed but has been low priority so far. The following is mostly unrelated but will provide more motivation to implement the feature: There's now a microprocessor board called the IOIO* for Android devices which appears to use the same method (VSP over USB using the ADB... IIRC) to give Android devices lots of I/O capabilities including multiple serial ports. This could potentially be extremely useful, both for those who just want a simple wired interface to existing serial hardware (and charge their Android device at the same time) and those who want to experiment with the latest pressure input / accelerometer / gyroscope / magnetic compass sensor boards. Thanks to PolishMike for pointing out the existence of this board on IRC.
