Can you post details of the GPS that does work indoors, especially what receiver chipset it uses, and what your house is made of? My most recent unit is a Binatone B.350, which uses the Sirf Atlas III or IV GPS chipset. My house has double glazed windows 13" masonry walls and a tiled, foil-lined roof: not exactly the sort of place you'd expect a GPS signal to penetrate!
