Hi,
My comments may not always be fully relevant, as I am not sure I understood
everything right.
About the Manage vs Browse initial debate, I guess the 6.1b3 solution of
manage then browse is too deep in levels. I would prefer that the task
management opens on tun points list of the active task and have access to
task list, Calc and others in a second step (as I see the sizing case is the
in-flight active task modification).
But my main comment is that the status of a task is unclear.
If I understand correctly, you currently need to activate a task prior any
modification.
I would prefer the capability for changing any tasks, and a clear status
ident for each task in the list whether it is the active one, and/or it is
unsaved.
For instance a prefix (A) for the active one, a (*) for the modified-unsaved
tasks, and a confirmation at exit whether to save or discard (better than
"revert"). Haven't thought much about the most appropriate feedback though.
Note that after "reverting" the changes, the "Close" button remains black
filled whereas it should be white filled. And Target should be greyed if no
active task is set, same for "declare" when a logger is not connected
(instead of having the message afterwards). Also on labels, "Perf." or
"Perfos" may be more appropriate than "Calculate".
Hope it helps anyway
Adrien
