First, let me say that I am superbly impressed with the effort and results of 
the team that has assembled XCSoar.  I've flown with earlier versions and have 
just loaded 6.0 on an Android platform...it looks great!  I'm already plotting 
how to mount this  7" best on my small instrument pedestal.

One question I have is about maps and topology.  I've used the Map Generator to 
build a map of my local area, but the map data is very sparse.  Is there any 
way 
to make an suitable .xcm map file, using a sectional chart of other source of 
map data?
