Hi All The Dell Streak has been identified on this forum as having better sunlight readability than most modern PDA's. However my understanding is that the display technology is not new, rather it is uses a reflective display which has not met much popularity with other suppliers.
I live in South Africa and I have done some research here. None of the local phone networks offer Dell products with any of their bundles. This makes it much more expensive on our market than other brands. I suppose there is the option of ordering one mail order from overseas but that would limit the support options if anything goes wrong. My question is, are there any other Android cell phone/tablet/pda devices that have same screen technology as the Dell Streak on the market? I would be happy to look at one with a smaller screen than the dell (say 4"). We have competitively priced options from the likes of Samsung, LG. HTC, Sony Ericson, but might any of these have an equivalent daytime viewable display?
