Hi Tibias and Istvan, 

I can easily imagine a scenario where switching off airspaces would be useful. 
We do have about a good dozen military training areas in our region, and these 
are usually not active on weekends. Not active is somewhat equivalent to 
non-existing to the average glider pilot. So, after checking activity in the 
morning, it would be useful to hide the inactive ones from the map to better 
visualize the usable airspace, and to emphasize on the actually active ones.
