Hello Peter, I tested traffic lights in simulation mode in both Windows and Android (Streak) versions and all worked as expected. I am assuming you have tested in simulation or flight and that you are displaying a GPS height sufficient to reach one or more landable waypoints. The fact that the alternates list displays green landables but the map does not suggests something peculiar to your Android device or your installation.
I would download a fresh copy of XCSoar and try it again. Also try it on another platform and see if you get different results. If you still get the same results put in a ticket.
