Hi Ramy,
I agree it would be very comfortable... however seeing the amount of tickets
which get open each day, I would presume, that it would take a considerable
amount of time to translate these tickets for publication in the mailing list.
I have to say, I rather see the developing team fixing the problem and
improving XCS as opposed to spending time keeping up with the mailing list -
its afterall freeware.
Also XCS improvment is dependent on us users to (flight) test new versions
(even buggy ones), if everyone would be holding back to install the latest
version no feedback could to be generated to identify bugs etc.
Personally I keep back-ups and decide the morning before the flight, if I try a
new one or if I want to play it safe and stay with the tested / trusted
version. In that respect, I liked the process leading up to 6.3. where Max
published a "red" version in the Android market, so you could have easiliy two
version installed.
Just my 2 cents.

May I suggest that whenever a regression is introduced, it will be published by
XCSoar developers on this mailing list as soon as it is discovered, so we can
decide if we rather wait for the next build or not?
