Hi, last week, I have received a packet from LXNAV with a V7 vario and a Nano logger, for free. That allows us to improve support for these products. XCSoar 6.3.7 already has a few V7 specific fixes, and XCSoar 6.4 (first alpha this week) will feature extended support for both V7 and Nano.
Quite a few vendors have already donated hardware to XCSoar developers: Triadis, EW, IMI, K6 Team, LX Navigation, SoarTronic. Sometimes, difficult interoperability problems can be solved quickly when a developer has the device on his desk. Every pilot can help by making hardware manufacturers aware that you care for XCSoar interoperability. If they feel XCSoar is important for their customers and their business, it's likely they will publish documentation and donate test hardware, and we can solve your problems easily.
