Hi, thanks for responding so quickly.
1. The baud rate setting is 9600
2. iPaq LX4700
3. Windows Mobile 5.1
4. XCSoar 6.3
5. I have tried using Com1, Com5 and Com8 in various combinations,
including checking in the sync of the iPaq that Com1 is open. The iPaq says
that it uses Com5 for incoming signal and Com8 for outgoing signal, but I
think that is for Bluetooth only. I have also checked that the settings in
XCSoar are the same.
6. I can't be certain that the cable and dock cradle is working properly,
but it is supplying power to the iPaq from the EWMR, and I'm *told* it was
tested before being sent to me.
Grateful for any help.
