I use this,greatly extends life of battery during a flight. It has a built
in battery that can be charged with micro usb charger,same as my droid
Bionic. If my phone battery is fully discharged,a fully charged battery on
this device can provide an approximate 75% charge to the phone battery. The
solar panel will also charge its internal battery and provide power to your
phone. The solar panel just about provides enough power to run the program
and GPS required for it. So while it may not provide enough power to run the
unit independently,it does greatly extend the battery life.
