Hi All, Wondering if someone can help me out here.
I'm looking at buying a Dell Streak Mini/5 to use solely as an XCSoar glide computer, probably talking to my FLARM, and I'm noticing that a lot of the (cheaper) streaks available are locked to either O2 or AT&T. I am in Australia, so neither of these networks are any good to me, however I wanted to check that XCSoar would still work ok without a sim card, dispite being locked to a network. I don't need any of the 'phone' capability given that I will only be using it for XCSoar. I'm pretty sure I'll be ok, but wanted to double check before I go parting with too much cash.
