I helped a friend tried to set up XCSoar on his Samsung Galaxy Tab 7. I believe we found an XCSoar Data folder in the Logs Folder under the XCSoar folder on the internal SD Card looking at this using a PC connected to the Samsung with the USB lead. We copied all the files from the external SD Card to the XCSoar Data folder where we found it on the Internal SD Card and restarted XCSoar and lo and behold everything worked. As Max has already stated Samsung products are notorious for this.

Samsung products are notorious for having an internal storage and (sometimes) a user-accessible (removable) SD card, and no consistent mapping of the two. That makes dealing with XCSoar and its XCSoarData location sometimes confusing. When you ask a question, you should first describe what you did, exactly.
