I recently experimented with the trail drift option and found it helpful in thermals but confusing in wave and ridge. As such am looking for an easy way to switch it on and off. Looks like this can be done with 4 taps using the wind infobox. However since the tail drift is only active when circling, I would expect it to only be active in circling page, but currently, once this feature is enabled and the glider is circling, it is also active in cruise and final glide pages. Is this by design? Wouldn't it be better if it was only active in circling page so will be easier and quicker to see the trace with and without wind drift?
