Good Morning
For many years I have operated an Altair/Vega/Flarm/Altair Pro combination.
This used XCSoar V5.2.2.
I wanted to fly from another site in Australia and found that the maps for
this version where no longer available or supported.
In an attempt to overcome this I upgraded to V6.6.5. This was full of
problems and when I tried to use the AltairPro the system crashed.
I have not been able to get the Altair and associated systems to work well
ever since. This has been extremely frustrating and consumed many pains
taking hours.
It has been suggested that to overcome this problem it would be best to
revert to version 5.2.2. I have attempted to do this and have not been able
to download the required install software.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
1. What is the latest stable software version that will allow the
integrated use of Altair Pro?
2. I contacted John Wharrington who has suggested that I contact Max
Kellerman regarding this.
Can someone advise how I can Contact Max?

Hi Gary,
If I were you I'd update to a recent xcsoar (6.7), and ask for help on the
xcsoar users email list. Max Kellermann has one for testing.
