XCSoar on Windows CE will be discontinued next year. This operating system has been obsolete for many years. The XCSoar team has been providing support for it, which took a good amount of time. Our interest in pursuing it has been fading away, five years after XCSoar has been ported to Android.
What will happen: - the upcoming version 6.8 will drop support for PPC2000 (and maybe PPC2003), but will still run on WM5 - the following release (probably 7.0) to be released in 2015 will drop all remaining Windows CE ports (including WM5 and Altair) If you are still using a legacy Windows CE/Mobile/PocketPC device, you may switch to Android, Kobo or other Linux variants. (If you disagree with dropping Windows CE, why don't you volunteer and continue to provide support?
