The problem with that is that it implicitly changes the scope of the bus to per-homedir (which may not even be per-machine, due to NFS or AFS). For things to work exactly as intended, ssh should forward DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS in the same way it forwards DISPLAY. However I don't know of any efforts to patch ssh for that.
