OK, that looks like a pretty short list, and as an abstraction API for the logind API (for _INHIBIT_SUSPEND and _INHIBIT_IDLE) and for some gnome-session/fdo API (for _INHIBIT_SWITCH, _INHIBIT_LOGOUT and _INHIBIT_IDLE) this sounds pretty close to what I'd like to see.
