as you might have seen from the recent cvs, I just thought I was doing
this but in fact did something completely different. My reading of the
request is that xdoclet should know when it was built, and generate any
files that the generated version are older than it. The motivation here
is for people who are extending xdoclet all the time.
I'm not sure that this should be a priority. For me, I typically do a
build of xdoclet, then a clean build of the samples. I think its a little
too much to expect that a tool to do what's being asked. am I wrong here?
The other thing is how to do it, afaik there is no way to determine how
old xdoclet is, unless we did something like get access to the xdoclet.jar
and look at the timestamp on that.
