We'll release 1.1 this week (absolutely no more waits) and we all will start working on xjavadoc/xtags. Xjavadoc is radically new/independent so we can keep it in a separate module for some time, but xtags to me seems to be easier to tackle and integrate with existing xdoclet module. Let me release 1.1 this week and the next day you can check in xtags (plus all good ideas of Aslak's stuff). That's my viewpoint.
