I experienced the same thing. I'm running JDK 1.4.0_01. In my case it used
almost 100 MB of memory. There's a lot of beans in the project. This is
however just on a clean build. After that only modified sources are rebuild
and this is much faster than in 1.1.2.

That sounds ab-normal. Sun's Javadoc has been replaced with our xjavadoc,
which is significantly faster. What's your environment? Do you have a test
case for this?
