I have several unidirectional N:1 relations, but I have *zero* relation
tables. Granted, they're N:1 and not 1:N, but I don't see how that would
make any difference.

messageKey ID
... messageKey
...
The only reason you should need to use a relation table is for N:M
relations. Have I just lucked out in not choosing a uni 1:N? Does CMR
truly require that you model your schema differently from normal? This
seems 100% counter to one of the goals of EJB: being able to map entity
beans to existing schemas.
Am I missing something?
