I'd appreciate any input from anyone with experience of making tag templates with xdoclet 1.2. And any input on what i've been waffling on about so far. Have I missed anything? Also views on preprocessing jsp's into javafiles, and then generating the tiles defs from those could slow the build process a little (any views?) .
I'd be developing and primarily targeting ant 1.5.3 and xdoclet 1.2.1 as these are what i use at this time.

Yes, I'd like to. Now pico & nano exist in released / timestamped versions. Qdox also, and there is still small issue pending resolution in generama. ( XDOCLEt-16 on jira.codehaus.org , hibernate stuff will not work properly without this. )
xdoclet-2 is pretty stable, and plugins build just fine.
I'm commiter for picoconatiner / nanocontainer / xdoclet-plugins, so I'll have to lobby aslak to get releases done.
regards,
