Solution is as always "do it yourself or wait till somebody does this" - and given actual commiter status on XD1 you can wait pretty long. I'm commiter for both versions, but I do not use XD1 anymore since 2003 - so I can not be if much assistance there. However I'm commiter and user of XD2 since 2003, and I can assist you in development of what you need. It is much easier than XD1 development.
