Thoughts? Thanks, I'd prefer statu quo. It seems Fedora ia64 doesn't include 8250 drivers into the kernel.
I am still looking for how dynamically enabling/disabling the 8250. At this time linux can't alloc the IRQ line, but the failure is ignored :-( Maybe we may add a command line option for 8250_acpi ?
