Nothing has happened with the new DOM code since the end of Feb. Getting
some help with it would be great.

Since I've moved on to a different project, I'm not likely to have a whole
lot of time to help with it. I'll sneak in what time I can. The obvious
first step would be to put the files into CVS. Then, implementing the
completely missing bits and getting it to pass the existing DOM tests,
limited in scope as they are, would make sense to me.

The performance problems with the current DOM in high performance server
applications are bad enough that I think that we really need to get the
new code up to the point of being useful.
