Not if the drug companies price the resultant medicine at what the (U.S.)
market will bear, and you're one of the folks that can't afford to buy it - so
you die anyway even thought the treatment has become available earlier that it
would otherwise!
FWIW I've seen first hand a loved one die from leukemia, so this concern is not
aired lightly...
