I installed the new version.  Now when I try to compile my program linked with the new 
xml library I get this:

ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined symbol: .DOMParser::parse(const char* const,const int)

I call parser->parse(gXmlFile);.  where static char* gXmlFile = 0; gXmlFile = av[ 1 ];

I guess something has changed with this new version, but that is how they do it in the 
samples.

Do you know what it should be?
