Hi,
        Pathan 2 works with xerces 2 but is pre alpha. Pathan 1 is in the 
process of being converted. It now fully works (we hope) with Xerces 2 but 
leaks loads of memory (changing from DOMString to XMLCh). If you can put 
up with this until it is fixed in a couple of weeks then check out the cvs 
tree from software.decisionsoft.com.
