Indeed...

Somehow I thought we'd designed this differently; but apparently not. So
evidently you need to create your grammar pool first, pass it into the
parser's constructor, and go from there. You'll probably just want to use
our XMLGrammarPoolImpl class in xercesc/internal, unless you feel like
writing your own; you should also be able to extend ours if you feel like
customizing it a bit.

Fine! Something that shows how to load a schema document completely
independent of an instance, then does some things with its components,
would be more than welcome!

I noticed that as I went about exploring more. At least I'm on the
right track :-)

Good stuff/hints here. But from looking at the source codes, it seems
like there is no public API to get to the GrammarPool.
And XercesDOMParser/SAXParser have a protected fGrammarPool member but
I can't get to it without subclassing them.
What am I missing?

I'll see what I can do. If I do submit an example using PSVI APIs, it
will be a Mac OS X project (Xcode).
It should be trivial to port over to other project platforms though.

Thanks again, Han Ming
