How to Build Xerces Source code as a Static Library..

Hi All,      I am beginner for  Xerces Libraries on Mac OS X. I want Xerces library as a Static Library in my application. So is there any option for building Static libraries from Xerces Source code??     Any option to be given at the time of confijuration ?    Kindly guide me,    Thanks & Regards,     Jignesh Sorathia Software Engineer
