Are you thinking of porting the entire Xerces codebase? Or could you just write a Delphi wrapper that calls into the XercesLib.dll file? Or could you access Xerces as an ActiveX control, using the COM wrapper that are being worked on?

I need a version of Xerces for Delphi for a low
priority project. If needed I would start the
conversion by myself.
Since Object Pascal and C++ are less compatible
than Java and C++ the class interface would be
quite different, mostly due to the fact that you
can't overload operators in Object Pascal.
Some questions:
1. Has a project "Xerces-D" already started.
2. If not. Are there any objections that I start
a "Xerxes-D" project by myself.
Regards from Germany
