Well there certainly wouldn't be any objections from us. If you get it
working and are willing to maintain it, that discussion could certainly be
had, and perhaps the Apache PMC would want to start a new language version
project.

I haven't heard of anyone starting such a project yet, but perhaps they
just haven't spoken up about it.

I need a version of Xerces for Delphi for a low
priority project. If needed I would start the
conversion by myself.

Since Object Pascal and C++ are less compatible
than Java and C++ the class interface would be
quite different, mostly due to the fact that you
can't overload operators in Object Pascal.

Some questions:

1. Has a project "Xerces-D" already started.

2. If not. Are there any objections that I start
   a "Xerxes-D" project by myself.
