If you are running on Win98, then its probably nothing to do with Borland,
but with 98. It turned out that our string extraction method didn't work on
98, just NT. So, since then, I've updated the Win32 message loader to use a
method that will work for both NT and 98. So you might want to either try
it on NT, or get the most recent code and work with that.

I know some people have got Xerces C working with Borland compilers; I have
successfully built it, but I haven't been able to get any sensible error
messages out of it.

My reading of the source says that in a Win32 environment the message texts
come out of the StringTable as wide characters, and then some text
substitution goes on. The string appears to come out of the Stringtable,
but I haven't (yet) traced it any further.

Is this correct, and has anyone successfully got error messages out of a
Borland built version?
