because the bug-tracking system is down, i post this bug here.
the org.apache.xerces.utils.URI class does not accept a URI like
#xmlns(aida=http://www.iaik.at/aida)%20xpointer(./ancestor::aida:eDocument%5
b1%5d/child::aida:signedContent%5b1%5d//.)
which is a valid URI. i did a sligt modification to the source, which seems
to work. however, i did not test is exhaustively. i would recommend
reworking this class.
i attached a HTML output of the difference to the 1.4.3 distribution.
