http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4456 Not all correct encoding is supported Summary: Not all correct encoding is supported Product: Xerces2-J Version: 2.0.0 [beta 2] Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT/2K Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: DOM AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We have found that version 1.4.1 of xerces does not support all the encodings that it should, like ISO8859-1. We checked version 2.0 beta and appears to not support this character encoding. We found that the class EncodingMap in version 2.0 takes care of the mappings in its static initializer. I would like to suggest that this is pushed out to a properties file, so that users/developers can add new supported types. I am happy to make the change, please let me know if you would like this fixed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
