Well... Tried setting the grammar-pool property on the loader. Still getting an error:
cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declartion of element 'personnel'.
and everything still comes thru as anyTypes.

(Apparently I _do_ still need to explicitly call the pool's putGrammar(), by the way... so I'm not sure I really set the right property, or that something else isn't missing.)

Next suggestion, Neil?
