Jason, I'm not getting anywhere trying to debug the AIX 4.3.3 + Perl 5.6.0 build of XML-Xerces. Is this known to work for 1.5.2_0?
It passes about 97% of the tests, but many of the exceptions are returning the wrong enumerated value (!) and some segfault. After rebuilding both the xerces-c library and the Perl extension for debug, it is proving to be quite low-level. In one case, it almost looks like the xlC runtime exception handler believes that no 'catch' is active! Just to levelset me, is it required that the Perl under which the extension is run be built for threading? By default, it is not and I'm wondering if this is confusing things. Can anyone else on the list confirm success with an AIX build? Steve -- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Steven N.
