What is \XeTeXpicfile from the TeX point of view? \vfil is a
discardable element thus it seems that \XeTeXpicfile is also treated
as a discardable element. \eject is then ignored because all
discardable elements are discarded. Would it help to put \XeTeXpicfile
to \hbox or \vbox?
Almost certainly. But for \XeTeXpicfile to be discardable
is counter-intuitive, to say the least !
