Yes unfortunately the xetex/tex--xet beginL beginR method of marking bidirectional text can not (natively) re-order the columns of a table. The bidi package's longtable-bidi package does what it can and as far as I remember it works well enough although has (hard to solve) issues if the table starts or ends mid page.
