I cannot reproduce this problem.

* Using XFC v4.4.2/Java 1.6/Windows XP, I've created an RTF file
containing a few PNG images on C:\xxx\yyy.
* I've opened this file in MS-Word 2007 and saved it as a .doc.
* I've copied the .doc to an USB Pen Drive.
* I've opened the .doc stored on the USB Pen Drive using MS-Word 2000 on
another machine.

Everything worked fine for me. (Strangely MS-Word 2000 takes a couple of
seconds to display an image. That is, it first displays the page and
then, the first time the page is displayed, it takes 1 or 2 second to
display the image it contains.)

In order to be able to help you, we need to reproduce the problem here
at XMLmind. So please send us all the information listed here:

You don't have access to latest releases since September 17, 2009.
Therefore the last version your are entitled to use is v4.3.1 (April 21,
2009). See http://www.xmlmind.com/foconverter/changes.html

I suggest that you first give latest release --v4.4.2-- of XMLmind
XSL-FO Converter (free) Personal Edition a try. See
http://www.xmlmind.com/foconverter/downloadperso.shtml

If it does not work with Personal Edition v4.4.2, then it is unlikely
that it will work with Professional Edition v4.3.1.
