You say:

a. Files (generated by XFC) looked good with all images.
b. If I open a docx XMLmind file in Word individually and do a save as
to doc I get a good file.

The problem occurs only when you convert a docx XMLmind file to .doc
using the docx2doc.txt macro.

First of all, what you did seems to prove that Word when invoked by a
macro does not have the same behavior as Word used as a desktop application!

We admit that the way we create images in a .docx file is a bit outdated
in respect with the latest OOXML specs and that we may change this in a
future release. This change *may* have the side-effect to solve your
problem.

In constrast, the way we create images in RTF and WordprocessingML is
fully compliant with the specs of these formats. Therefore, as a
workaround, I suggest that you change your toolchain to generate RTF
rather than .docx and then convert this RTF to .doc. *May* *be* this
will solve the problem. If you do this and solve your problem, please be
kind enough to inform us of this fact.
